Limited Public Access to Pentagon on Tuesday, September 11

The Pentagon Memorial will be closed to the public on Tuesday morning from 5 a.m. to noon due to a private ceremony commemorating the 11th anniversary of the 9/11 attack and visitation of the site by survivors and surviving family members. Visitors are asked to plan around this scheduled closure.
Additionally, Washington Headquarters Services announced the following schedule adjustments for the Pentagon’s parking lots and entrances on Tuesday:
- Sept. 9-11: The South Secure A Numbered (SSA#) parking lot will be closed from 6 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 9, to 4 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 11. All vehicles must be removed NLT than 6 p.m. Sept. 9, 2012, or they will be towed at the owner’s expense. SSA# permit holders may park in any A, B, or C space on the Pentagon Reservation all day on Monday and Tuesday, Sept. 10 and 11.
- Sept. 10-11: The South Parking lot Lanes 1-11 will be closed from 6 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 10 to 4 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 11. All vehicles must be removed NLT than 6 p.m. Sept. 10, 2012, or they will be towed at the owner’s expense. South A permit holders may park in any A, B, or C slot on the Pentagon Reservation and C permit holders, any B or C.
- Sept. 10-11: North Parking Lanes 57 to 63 will be closed from 6 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 10 to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 11. All vehicles, including official vehicles and contractor vehicles must be moved by 6 p.m. on Sept. 10 or they will be towed at owner’s expense. All North C permit holders may park in any C space on the Reservation.
- Sept. 11: The Corridor 3 and 5 pedestrian entrances will be closed from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
