Two men, one woman killed in raid, child injured

TIKRIT, Iraq (Feb, 5, 2008) – Two men and a woman were killed during an intelligence-driven raid on a suspected terrorist cell, which involved a small arms fire exchange between Coalition Forces and and two suspected cell members near Tikrit, Iraq, Feb. 5.
While entering a building, Coalition Soldiers were attacked by small arms fire. The Soldiers returned fire. Upon initial inspection, Coalition Forces discovered two men dead, a woman dead and an injured child.
The child received leg injuries and was air-evacuated to a Coalition hospital.
