[DoD] DoD Announces OEF/OIF Rotational Units No: 052-05

DoD Announces OEF/OIF Rotational Units
January 18, 2005

 

The Department of Defense announced today that the 1st and 2d Brigades of the U.S. Armys 1st Armored Division, Wiesbaden, Germany, will deploy to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom rotations scheduled to begin in mid-2005.

Other units identified and announced as part of this rotation were previously announced on Dec. 14, 2004, and Jan. 4, 2005.

DoD will continue to announce large units as they are identified and alerted.
