DoD Identifies Army Casualty

The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Staff Sgt. Richard L. Morgan Jr., 38, of St. Clairsville, Ohio, died Oct. 5 in Latfiyah, Iraq, of injuries sustained on Oct. 4 when an improvised explosive device detonated near his convoy vehicle. Morgan was assigned to the Army Reserves 660th Transportation Company, Cadiz, Ohio.
