DoD Identifies Army Casualty

The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Spc. Ronald W. Baker, 34, of Cabot, Ark., died October 13 in Landstuhl, Germany, of injuries sustained on October 7 in Taji, Iraq, when a vehicle-borne improvised explosive device detonated near his patrol vehicle. Baker was assigned to the 39th Support Battalion, Arkansas National Guard, Lonoke, Ark.
