DoD Identifies Army Casualty

The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.

Cpl. Isaiah Calloway, 23, of Jacksonville, Fla., died Oct. 30 in Marah, Afghanistan, from injuries suffered when his unit came in contact with enemy forces using small arms fire during combat operations. Calloway was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 4th Infantry Regiment, Hohenfels, Germany.
