DoD Identifies Army Casualty

The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Spc. Scott Q. Larson Jr., 22, of Houston, Texas, died April 5, in Baghdad, Iraq, of injuries sustained when his convoy was ambushed. Larson was assigned to the Armys 1st Battalion, 37th Armor Regiment, 1st Brigade, 1st Armor Division, Ray Barracks, Friedberg, Germany.
