DoD Identifies Army Casualty

The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier, who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Spc. Daniel L. Sesker, 22, of Ogden, Iowa, died in Baghdad, Iraq on April 6, when an improvised explosive device detonated near his HMMWV during combat operations. Sesker was assigned to the Army National Guard’s Troop C, 1st Squadron, 113th Cavalry in LeMars, Iowa.
