DOD IDENTIFIES ARMY CASUALTY

The Department of Defense announced today that Spc. David T. Nutt, 22, of Blackshear, Ga., was killed on May 14, 2003, in Mosul, Iraq. Nutt was killed when an Iraqi civilian vehicle cut his loaded 5-Ton Truck off on the road. Nutt swerved; hit the median and his vehicle overturned. The incident is under investigation. 

Nutt was assigned to the 494th Transportation Company, based at Ft. Campbell, Ky.
