Iraqi Reconstruction Sector Contracts Awarded
March 11, 2004

 

The Department of Defense announced today the award of two contracts to provide construction services under the Coalition Provisional Authority Program Management Office (PMO) within specific sectors.

The contracts and sectors awarded are:

Electrical Sector

FluorAMEC L.L.C.,Greenville, S.C, was awarded a contract with a ceiling of $500 million to provide design-build services for construction, rehabilitation, operation, and maintenance of power generation facilities.

Public Works and Water Support Sector

Washington International Inc./Black & Veatch Joint Venture, Boise, Idaho, was awarded a contract with a ceiling of $600 million to provide design-build services for national water resource projects, including repair and/or construction of water resources supplies and transmission networks nationwide.
