NATIONAL GUARD AND RESERVE MOBILIZED AS OF DEC. 5

This week, three of the services announce an increase of reservists on active duty in support of the partial mobilization. The Army increased by 80 reservists; Navy, 408 reservists; and the Marine Corps, 30 more reservists. The Air Force announces a decrease of 916 reservists, while the Coast Guard has 25 fewer reservists on active duty. The net result is 423 fewer reservists on active duty in support of the partial mobilization than last week.
At any given time, services may mobilize some units and individuals while demobilizing others, making it is possible for these figures to either increase or decrease. Total number currently on active duty in support of the partial mobilization for the Army National Guard and Army Reserve is 16,298; Naval Reserve, 8,908; Air National Guard and Air Force Reserve, 28,120; Marine Corps Reserve, 1,140; and the Coast Guard Reserve 2,198. This brings the total Reserve and National Guard on active duty to 56,664 from 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and individual augmentees.
