NATIONAL GUARD AND RESERVE MOBILIZED AS OF JAN. 2

This week the Army announces a decrease of 563 reservists while the Marine Corps announces an increase of 24 reservists on active duty in support of the partial mobilization. The Navy and Air Force report no changes this week. The net collective result is 539 fewer reservists than last week.
At any given time, services may mobilize some units and individuals while demobilizing others, making it is possible for these figures to either increase or decrease. Total number currently on active duty in support of the partial mobilization for the Army National Guard and Army Reserve is 17,952; Naval Reserve, 9,193; Air National Guard and Air Force Reserve, 30,628; Marine Corps Reserve, 1,492; and the Coast Guard Reserve 2,108. This brings the total Reserve and National Guard on active duty to 61,373 from 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and individual augmentees.
