[DoD] DoD Announces OEF/OIF Rotational Unit No: 008-05

DoD Announces OEF/OIF Rotational Unit
January 04, 2005

 

The Department of Defense announced today that the 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 28th Infantry Division, Pennsylvania Army National Guard, will deploy to Iraq in support of the Operation Iraqi Freedom rotations scheduled to begin in mid-2005.

Other units identified and announced as part of this rotation were previously announced on Dec. 14, 2004 http://www.defenselink.mil/releases/2004/nr20041214-1823.html

DoD will continue to release large unit announcements as they are identified and alerted.

For information on the unit announced today please contact Army public affairs at (703) 692-2000. For information specific to the 2d Brigade Combat Team’s mobilization and deployment contact the First U.S. Army public affairs office at (404) 469-7326.
