ANSF, Coalition forces attacked, respond by killing 4 militants in Helmand
KABUL, Afghanistan – Afghan National Security Forces and Coalition forces killed four militants Thursday in Nar Surkh District, Helmand province, in southern Afghanistan.
The combined forces were conducting a combat security patrol when militants attacked from a wooded area, using small-arms and machine-gun fire. ANSF and Coalition forces responded, killing four militants.
No ANSF, Coalition forces or civilian casualties have been reported.
