FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

SOUTHWEST ASIA – U.S. and Turkish military forces conducted their second combined joint patrol northwest of Manbij today. The continued combined patrols allow U.S. and Turkish military forces to complement the local security structure for security and stability in Manbij.

“The interoperability skillsets that both nations enact through these joint patrols showcase a true level of professionalism and dedication to the people who are affected by ISIS’s violent and false ideological beliefs,” said Lt. Col. Earl Brown, a USCENTCOM spokesman. “As partner forces, we’re entirely supportive of the Manbij road map and these combined patrols.”
