DOD CASUALTY UPDATE

The Department of Defense today announced that Machinist’s Mate Fireman Apprentice Bryant L. Davis, 20, of Chicago, Ill. has been declared deceased after falling overboard from the USS Kitty Hawk on Nov. 7.Search and rescue efforts continued for more than two days before being halted on Friday. The USS Kitty Hawk is currently participating in Operation Enduring Freedom.
