DOD Identifies Army Casualty

The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation New Dawn.

Maj. Wesley J. Hinkley, 36, of Carlisle, Pa., died April 4 in Baghdad, Iraq, as a result of a non-combat related incident. He was assigned to the 3rd Special Troops Battalion, 3rd Sustainment Brigade, Fort Stewart, Ga.
