DoD Identifies Marine Casualties

The Department of Defense announced today the deaths of two Marines who were killed supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Lance Cpl. Timothy R. Creager, 21, of Millington, Tenn., died July 1 due to hostile action in Al Anbar Province, Iraq. He was assigned to 2nd Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, N.C.

Lance Cpl. James B. Huston Jr., 22, of Umatilla, Ore., died July 2 in a vehicle accident while his unit was responding to hostile action in Al Anbar Province, Iraq. He was assigned to 2nd Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Pendleton, Calif.
