  • Latif Nusayyif Jasim captured. He was the 10 of Clubs in Iraq’s Most Wanted Deck of Playing Cards.
  • Lt. Gen. Ricardo Sanchez assumes command of U.S. Army V Corps, then serving as Combined Task Force-7 (CTF-7), which controls all coalition forces in Iraq.
